One person killed in crash on I-30 in Fort Worth

The Fort Worth Police Department responded to a major accident around 5:07am this morning along westbound Interstate 30 near Hulen Street.

According to preliminary information, two vehicles were involved in a collision. One of the vehicles may have caught fire.

Paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced one person deceased on the scene. The victim has been identified as a 26-year-old woman.

All lanes of westbound I-30 were closed for a few hours while Fort Worth police investigated the scene.
