Dallas police looking for drivers in separate fatal hit and run crashes

The Dallas Police Department is investigating a pair of fatal hit and run crashes that occurred within a few hours of each other late last night and during the overnight hours.

The first occurred in the 3200 block of W. Kiest Blvd near Westmoreland Road around 10:50pm last night. Police say a man was walking in the right lane of traffic when a driver struck him and sped off. The victim was transported to a local hospital, but pronounced deceased.

The second occurred just before 3:30am in the 6400 block of Great Trinity Forest Way near Pemberton Hill Road. A man was walking in the westbound lanes of traffic when a driver struck him and sped off. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Neither victims have been identified.

Both crashes are under investigation. No suspect vehicle information has been released.
