Motorcyclist killed in Parker County crash
The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating a fatality accident that occurred late Friday evening in the 11000 block of Mineral Wells Highway (Highway 180) near Maddux Road in western Parker County.
At around 10:45pm on Friday, Cool-Garner Engine 43, Lifecare EMS, and multiple police were all dispatched to a motorcycle crash on Mineral Wells Highway. Dispatched information indicated a motorcyclist hit a guardrail.
Air Evac helicopter was on standby, but disregarded as the cyclist was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the rider as a 64-year-old man from Weatherford.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
