Power Outage (Wise County) Info from the Wise County Messenger: MAJOR POWER OUTAGE – The Wise County Sheriff’s Department reports that TXU lost a major feeder line Sunday afternoon that has cut power to parts of Wise County. The sheriff’s department is operating on emergency power and electricity is reported out west of Decatur and in Alvord, Boyd and Newark. The SO says that TXU cannot advise when power will be restored.
