Road Closure (Bedford)
Major Accident/Road blockage (Bedford) Roadway Closure:
Bedford Rd. is currently closed both directions due to downed power lines across the roadway in the area that encompasses the 600-700 Block at Regents Park (basically between Brown Trail and Airport Freeway). The power lines were damaged as a result of a car accident. Regents Park is also closed at this time at the intersection of Bedford Rd. Oncor anticipates that there could be a general power outage in the area north to SH 183 for up to eight hours. The roadway may be closed up to eight hours as well.
Detour Information:
Eastbound Bedford Rd. traffic will detour south on Coffee Tavern Rd to Stonegate Dr. and north on Stonegate Dr. to Bedford Rd. Westbound Bedford Rd. traffic will detour north on Stonegate Dr. to Somerset Circle then west back to Bedford Rd.
