PIC – Medical Helicopter
PIC – This is Children’s Medical Center of Dallas’ air medical helicopter. The $14 million dollar Sikorsky aircraft can transport two patients at one time along with the patient’s parent and/or physician. The aircraft transports critically ill neonatal and pediatric patients. It is staffed by medical personnel from Children’s Med Dallas while the pilots are employees of PHI Air Medical. The helicopter program at Children’s Med Dallas brings over 4,000 kids a year to Dallas for clinical care. We are privileged to have this service here in the Metroplex!
