Show your Rig #14A – Cook Children’s is supported by one of the largest pediatric transport programs in the nation. More than 2,500 children are transported to Cook Children’s Medical Center annually from Texas and its surrounding states, most for critical care specialized neonatal and pediatric critical care teams. Cook Children’s Teddy Bear Transport staff of 52 neonatal/pediatric nurses, respiratory therapists and paramedics is proud to have more than 400 combined years of transport experience. The Teddy Bear Transport Fleet, Based out of Meacham Airport in Fort Worth, consist of the following: Teddy Bear 1, N911TB, is a Eurocopter EC145, powered by two Turbomeca ARRIEL engines, offers excellent performance, a fast cruise speed and advanced technologies. With the its high set main and tail rotors, rear-loading clamshell doors, large cabin, extra payload capacity, unmatched visibility and additional safety features the EC145 has become the he…licopter platform of choice for EMS and other missions. The aircraft is offered in single pilot IFR and dual pilot IFR configurations. Both options are equipped with the modern MEGHAS glass cockpit and digital autopilot, which can greatly reduce pilot workload. Cook Children’s EC145 is outfitted with the latest equipment and safety features. Teddy Bear Fixed Wing, N75LV, is a Super King Air B200 powered by two – PT6 Pratt and Whitney engines with a Range of 400 – 450 miles. It’s outfitted with the latest equipment and safety features.
