Thunderstorms are now located along a cold front that is moving through the northwestern areas of North Texas. The storms are moving to the northeast at 45 mph and will affect the red shaded area before 8 pm. The strongest storms will be capable of hail and damaging wind gusts. To the east of the red shaded area, storms will affect the region later this evening as the front moves slowly east and southeast.
