Ribbin Cutting for Renovated Fire Station (Benbrook)
The City of Benbrook invites the public to a ribbon-cutting to celebrate the renovation and expansion of the Benbrook Fire Station located at 528 Mercedes Street. The event occurs Saturday, May 4, from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. The formal program begins at 1:00 p.m. with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony, followed by a cook-out of hamburgers/hotdogs, a cake, and tours of the new facilities. The renovation/expansion project includes additional sleeping quarters to accommodate current and additional personnel, a fitness room, shift officer offices, and a walk-in treatment room.
