Palo Pinto Co. (Large Brush Fire) Peninsula at PK Lake
Palo Pinto Co. (Large Brush Fire) The Peninsula at PK Lake – A large brush fire which started this afternoon is still burning tonight in the Peninsula area of Possum Kingdom Lake. The fire is called the Frontier Unit Fire and is believed to have started in a ditch on Frontier Rd. No structures have been lost however at least 30 are threatened. Resources from the Texas Forest Service are on scene but there is no information on the number of acres involved or how much of the fire is contained. The live audio feed from Palo Pinto Co. is no longer available so our ability to monitor the situation at this fire is very limited. We will send updates as we are able to get information. This is the same general area that burned 2 years ago where many homes and businesses were lost. A3
