Folks, as we deal with the threat of significant severe weather in north Texas today, it is vital you have a way to receive weather alerts. From the NWS: THE MAIN THREATS WILL BE FREQUENT LIGHTNING, HAIL LARGER THAN TWO INCHES IN DIAMETER, AND DAMAGING WINDS. THE TORNADO THREAT WILL INCREASE DURING THE DAY…WITH STRONG LONG TRACK TORNADOES A POSSIBILITY. BY MID AFTERNOON THE STORMS ARE EXPECTED TO EVOLVE INTO A SQUALL LINE…INCREASING THE DAMAGING STRAIGHT LINE WIND POTENTIAL. THE SQUALL LINE SHOULD EXIT THE SOUTHEASTERN COUNTIES BY LATE EVENING.
