Police (Arlington) Arlington PD is working an incident in the 2400 blk of Park Run. Heavy presence. We will have updates from APD shortly.

UPDATE: Per a spokesperson on scene, Arlington Police responded to the 2400 blk of Park Run Dr around 3:30pm in regards to a possible suicidal subject. It was reported the subject had a firearm, which prompted response from Arlington PD’s SWAT unit. APD canvassed the area and found the subject deceased in an open field near the listed location. Arlington Police spokesperson is advising the deceased is an Arlington police officer. Since we do not report suicides, this is all the info that we will be releasing.
