UTA – 7:39am – The UT Arlington campus is closed, and classes, events and summer camps are canceled until further notice as police continue to investigate a report of a man traveling to campus with a gun. Anyone on campus should remain inside. No one should travel to campus.
UPDATE – The subject believed to have triggered the UTA lockdown (now lifted and campus re-opened) this morning has been apprehended in north Dallas after a standoff in the 6700 blk of Churchill Way. The subject surrendered to police without incident. (Info from the Dallas Morning News)
