Throwback Thursday – Our last throwback photo for this week is the famous Los Angeles County Fire Squad 51. This was the actual vehicle used in the TV show from the 1970’s ‘EMERGENCY’ TV Show. Squad 51 was a 1972 Dodge D-300. In this photo,… Squad 51 is actually in Washington DC in front of the US Capitol as part of the ACEP National EMS Week celebration and many artifacts from the TV show had been added to the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History on this day. This photo was taken in May of 2000. Randy Mantooth who played Johnny Gage is in the passenger seat. Again, a special thanks to Rick Murray for the photo.
