Fire Department Open House (Murphy)

Fire Department Open House (Murphy) For the ninth year in a row, Murphy Fire Rescue is opening the doors of the fire house and inviting residents to come in, enjoy a hot dog lunch, and learn about how the firefighting force operates. The Fire Station Open House is set for Saturday, Oct. 11 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The fire station is located at the Municipal Complex, 206 North Murphy Road. The best options for parking before noon may be the lots east of the Police Department.

In addition to the fire house tours, there will be games, live demonstrations, a coloring contest, a fire truck bounce house, fire safety movies, free hot dogs, popcorn and beverages. A special treat will be the arrival and up-close inspection of an air-evac emergency medical service helicopter.

Photos with everyone’s favorite mascot, Sparky the Fire Dog will be available. A2
