Aggravated Robbery/School Lockdown (Cleburne)
On Monday, January 11, 2016 at 9:33 am, the Cleburne Police Department responded to 1607 West Henderson in reference to an aggravated robbery that had just occurred. The caller stated a white male wearing a hooded sweatshirt entered the business and demanded money. The male fled on foot. It is believed that he may be in a gray or silver 2014 Honda Civic with paper plates.
Cleburne High School is currently on perimeter lock-down due to the proximity to the location where the robbery occurred. However, there is no information at this time that the suspect has any connection to the school or any reason to go there. The lock-down was only for precautionary measures.
This incident is currently under investigation by the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Cleburne Police Department.
