Attempted Abduction (Johnson County)
From the Johnson County Sheriffs Office: On 01/21/2016 at approximately 5:48am, a Johnson County Deputy was dispatched to the 11000 block of Foothills Drive of Venus, Texas in reference to suspicious activity. The mother related to the Deputy that her 11 year old son took their dog outside and placed the dog on its run leash. A short time later, the mother heard her son screaming while running onto the front porch.
The mother related that an unknown white male chased after the child and tried to grab him as he was feeding the dog. The mother looked out the front door and observed a dark colored pickup truck (unknown make and model) drive away heading North on Foothills Drive.
The child said the unidentified male subject had a beard that was brownish red in color, wearing a dark orange shirt, with broad shoulders, and his beard was a goatee style beard approximately 8 inches in length.
