Investigation (Denton)
Denton Police are investigating a reported phone threat at Denton’s Ryan High School. A lockdown has been in place for the high school now for over an hour. Denton PD says they are searching the school room by room and have found no threat. No gunshots have been fired. DISD says the investigation is about 90% complete and the lockdown should be lifted within the next 30 minutes [update – lockdown lifted at 5:40pm]. Please continue to avoid this area.
