Full Update (North Texas)

It has already been a busy day across much of north Texas. Last night, a probable tornado caused damage just east of Cool, TX along Highway 180. There were also more than a dozen water rescues across Parker, Wise, and Denton counties. Parker County’s Rescue 33, Boat 33, and Squad 101 rescued a total of 4 people, 6 dogs, and 7 horses last night from houses/properties in high water. Paradise FD and others in Wise County were busy with multiple high water rescues. This morning, a tornado caused significant damage and some injuries east of Tolar along Hwy 377. Multiple mobile homes were blown over, and roofs of houses were blown off. Strong winds also caused some minor fence/pole damage in Tarrant County, along with some structural damage at TCC Northwest campus and others. The Colony FD reports more than a dozen homes damaged in their city by either straight line winds or a tornado. Several homes across north Texas were also struck by lightning. And if you had a trampoline in your backyard, odds are you have donated it to the neighbors! Its already been a busy day for much of north Texas.
