North Richland Hills PD investigating early morning pedestrian involved crash; driver fled scene

North Richland Hills police and fire/EMS personnel responded to a pedestrian struck just after 1:45am this morning. The crash reportedly occurred in the lanes of Blvd 26 near Willman Ave.

Officers arrived on scene and located an adult male in the roadway with obvious injuries. The vehicle that struck him had already fled the scene. EMS transported him to the hospital, unknown condition. We have not heard any information or update on his condition.

A witness reported a dark colored vehicle fled the area after the crash happened. Evidence suggests the pedestrian struck was on a bicycle. The vehicle may have front end damage.
