DFW Traffic: Roads mainly wet with no significant impacts
After a few morning issues with icy bridges, it appears a majority of the roadways are just wet. A few elevated surfaces still have the potential to be slick and icy, but overall the roadways across DFW are fine. There are currently no significant road closures due to weather.
There are minor ice accumulations on trees and power lines, but nothing significant enough to cause problems. We will monitor the situation as the rainy weather continues throughout the day. Temperatures are forecasted to range from freezing to the mid-30s for most of the afternoon and evening.
Later tonight the temperatures should stay above freezing, so no further impacts are expected.
Although the roads aren’t icy, they are still wet! Drive with caution.
