Dallas firefighters rescue man from off-road crash at DFW National Cemetery
Just after 10:00am this morning, Dallas Fire-Rescue members were dispatched to an off road vehicle crash at the DFW National Cemetery off Mountain Creek Parkway.
A man driving an off-road vehicle had crashed approximately 10-12 feet down an embankment.
Luckily, the man did not suffer any major injuries, but DFR called out their USAR (Urban Search and Rescue) team to assist with extraction.
After the man was “packaged” by EMS personnel, he was lifted by stokes basket and rope rescue tools to the top of the hill. He was then transported by DFR for evaluation of injuries.
