Construction accident in downtown Fort Worth leaves worker clinging to building
Multiple Fort Worth FD, PD, and MedStar personnel are working a construction accident / collapse in downtown Fort Worth.
Units are on scene at 333 Throckmorton Street near 2nd Street.
Reports indicate a scaffolding or other construction equipment collapsed. Photos at the scene show one worker clinging to the building and in need of rescue.
*UPDATE* The worker has been pulled to safety by fellow workers, according to police. He was not injured. A female was injured by falling debris, and transported to the hospital in unknown condition. Police report it was the scaffolding that runs behind the Worthington Hotel to the front of Uno Pizzeria on Houston Street.
