Overnight crash in Denton kills one person
The Denton Police Department is investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatality crash during the overnight hours of Thursday.
Denton police and fire/EMS crews responded to the major accident after 1AM in the 3300 block of Fort Worth Drive / US-377. Two vehicles were involved, both with major front end damage
Both drivers were injured, one critically. CPR was administered. Denton EMS transported this patient to the hospital, but he died at Medical City Denton.
Investigators determined the other driver was intoxicated, and subsequently arrested him at the scene. He is a 29-year-old male arrested for Intoxication Manslaughter.
