Three drivers die in separate overnight high-speed crashes across Dallas
Three people died in three separate car crashes across Dallas during the overnight hours.
The first occurred in the 3900 block of Lawnview Ave in east Dallas. A vehicle struck a tree and the driver died at the scene. Read our original report here.
The second occurred at the intersection of Westmoreland and Davis in Oak Cliff. A vehicle ran a red light and crashed into a Dallas Fire-Rescue ambulance. The driver of the vehicle died at the hospital. Read our original report here.
The third occurred near the High-5 interchange in north Dallas. A vehicle traveling along the feeder road to Central Expressway rolled multiple times, partially ejecting and killing the driver. Read our original report here.
According to a release by the Dallas Police Department, each of these crashes involved vehicles traveling at a high rate of speed.
