Overnight crash on 635 in Dallas kills three people
The Dallas Police Department is investigating a major accident overnight in the eastbound lane of the 3200 block of LBJ Freeway near Webb Chapel.
Three individuals were standing outside of a vehicle on the right hand shoulder of the highway attempting to change a flat tire. The driver of another vehicle traveling eastbound struck the three individuals and the vehicle, killing all three and severely injuring a woman inside the vehicle with the flat tire.
The suspect who crashed into the individuals fled on foot from the crash scene. Three people, including the severely injured woman, another person inside the stopped vehicle, and a juvenile from the suspect vehicle were all transported to the hospital.
The suspect is sought for Manslaughter and Failure to Stop and Render Aid.
