18-year-old dies in Fort Worth shooting
The Fort Worth Police Department is investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of an 18-year-old male shot and killed yesterday.
At around 5:00pm, Fort Worth officers and firefighters were dispatched to a major accident near the 2500 block of NE 28th Street at Warfield Ave. Upon arrival, officers located the driver of the vehicle with an apparent gunshot wound. The victim, identified as an 18-year-old male, died at the scene.
Detectives found that there were three other occupants in the vehicle at the time it crashed. All three occupants fled the scene on foot.
Homicide detectives are investigating this incident.
