UPDATE: One person killed in I35W crash near downtown Friday night
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office has confirmed that a 70-year-old female died yesterday evening in a major accident on I35W near downtown Fort Worth.
As we first posted last night, Fort Worth FD, PD, and MedStar all responded to the crash just after 9am Friday evening. All lanes were closed while units worked the scene.
MedStar transported the victim to JPS with CPR in progress, but was declared deceased in the ER.
The Fort Worth PD is investigating this crash. We have reached out to them for a statement and will update when obtained.
