Clerk shot and killed in robbery at Garland store
Last night around midnight, Garland police responded to a convenience store in the 4400 block of W. Walnut Street in reference to a robbery.
When officers arrived, they located a gunshot victim, later identified as a 30-year-old man. The man was transported to the hospital, but died as a result of his injuries.
The investigation revealed that he was the store clerk at the convenience store. Further examinations of this incident are in progress.
