UPDATE: Four people shot, one fatally, at south Dallas car wash
Just after 9:30pm last night, Dallas police officers responded to a shooting call at a car wash in the 2700 block of MLK Jr. Blvd near Lamar Street.
Officers located four people who had been shot. All were transported by Dallas Fire-Rescue personnel to Baylor Hospital. One of the victims, a 56-year-old female, was pronounced deceased at the hospital. The other three victims are stable.
Reports indicate there was a large gathering at the car wash prior to the shooting. Many have speculated it was related to a political event held at Fair Park earlier in the day, but it was not.
Details are still being investigated by police.
