Woman airlifted to Parkland after fire in west Fort Worth
Earlier this morning, River Oaks FD along with mutual aid departments responded to a fire in the 900 block of Gillham Road in west Fort Worth. This is just to the east of Carswell AFB.
The fire was out upon FD’s arrival, but one person was seriously injured. Reports indicate she was smoking while on O2.
MedStar and CareFlite both responded to the scene for patient care. CareFlite airlifted the burn victim to Parkland.
No additional details have been released.
