UPDATE: Driver killed in rollover crash along 114 in Westlake area
The Keller Police Department has released additional information regarding last night’s fatality crash along Highway 114 in the Westlake area.
Police say at around 5:00pm last night, a driver was traveling eastbound on Highway 114 near Solana Blvd when he swerved out of his lane, apparently to avoid vehicles on the side of the road. His vehicle, a truck, was struck from behind as he changed lanes, causing him to cross over the median and into oncoming traffic.
The vehicle overturned into the westbound lanes where an additional vehicle struck the truck. The driver was pronounced deceased at the scene.
All westbound lanes of Highway 114 were closed yesterday evening for about four (4) hours while police investigated the scene.
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner has not publicly released the identity of the deceased.
