Two people dead in multi-vehicle crash in Northwest Dallas
At around 9:15am this morning, personnel from the Dallas Police Department and Fire-Rescue were dispatched to a major accident in the 4600 block of Irving Blvd near Regal Row.
When officers arrived, they located three vehicles involved in a crash with major damage: a flat bed truck, a pickup truck, and a semi tractor.
The preliminary investigation reveals the flatbed truck crossed the median into oncoming traffic and struck the pickup truck and semi tractor.
The driver of the flatbed truck was ejected and died at the scene. He has been identified as a 31-year-old male. A passenger in the pickup truck was trapped in the vehicle and died at the scene. That occupant’s identity has not been released.
Two other people were injured and transported to Parkland Hospital with undisclosed injuries.
