Dallas police say missing 18-month-old may be in danger
The Dallas Police Department is seeking assistance from the public as they work to locate a missing 18-month-old child.
Cedrick Jackson was last seen around 12:30am on July 10th (Wednesday) in the 9700 block of Whitehurst Drive. He is described as an 18-month-old black male with black braided hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a diaper only.
The child was in temporary custody of an aunt, police say. She woke up this morning around 6:00am and reported him missing.
“A juvenile witness who lives at the location described someone who looked like a relative as someone who took Cedrick at some point during the night,” Dallas police say. He has since been located and does not have possession of the child.
A Regional Amber Alert has been issued at this time.
Police say the child may be in danger and in need of assistance. If you know the whereabouts of Cedrick, or have information that may help police locate him, call 9-1-1 right now.
