Garland police shoot and kill man armed with two large knives

The Garland Police Department is investigating an officer involved shooting that took place last night (Friday) at an apartment complex in the 200 block of E. I30.

Officers initially responded to the scene for a report of a “male subject armed with two machetes, slashing tires, and stabbing the hoods of cars parked in the parking lot.”
