Man killed in Arlington crash secondary to domestic situation
The Arlington Police Department is investigating a major crash with fatality that occurred this evening near the intersection of W Division Street and Cooper Street.
Police say two SUVs were involved in the crash. The driver of one of the vehicles, a male, was transported to a hospital and pronounced deceased. A woman from the second vehicle was transported with non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators believe the crash occurred secondary to a domestic situation. The male driver reportedly tried to ram the second vehicle, occupied by his female domestic partner, as they both traveled along Division Street.
The male driver crashed into a pole during the incident.
The victim has been identified as a 35-year-old male from Arlington.
The crash is still under investigation.
