UPDATE: Dallas officer struck by train showing improvements, in stable condition

The Dallas Police Department says an officer struck by a DART train yesterday in downtown Dallas is still in stable condition and showing improvements.

DART says they responded to an individual struck by a train at approximately 12:40PM. A light rail train impacted a pedestrian near the Pearl – Arts Station.

The officer was transported to Baylor.

He is a 14-year veteran of the department assigned to the Youth Outreach Unit.
