Police investigating an officer-involved shooting in east Fort Worth
Multiple Fort Worth PD officers are on scene of a reported officer involved shooting incident near the 6100 block of Oakland Hills Blvd at Boca Raton Blvd in the Woodhaven area.
Reports indicate one person has been shot and transported to the hospital with serious injuries.
Police confirm this is an officer involved shooting and are investigating the scene.
A law enforcement not with the department says they were searching for a homicide suspect when he ran and reportedly fired at officers.
It is best to avoid this area.
Update – Police confirm at least one officer has shot and killed an armed suspect possibly involved in a recent homicide. The man was transported to a hospital, but died.
