Intoxicated driver hits vehicle at south Dallas intersection; two dead
The Dallas Police Department and Dallas Fire-Rescue personnel responded to a major accident at the intersection of Clark Road and Clarkridge Drive at around 12:40AM this morning.
When emergency personnel arrived, they located two vehicles with heavy damage.
Police say a southbound vehicle on Clark Road was traveling at a high rate of speed when it impacted a westbound vehicle from Clarkridge Drive at the intersection. Two occupants inside the westbound vehicle struck by the southbound vehicle died; one at the scene and the other at the hospital. They have both been identified as 35-year-old females.
The driver of the southbound vehicle was transported to the hospital with moderate injuries. He will be arrested for two (2) counts of Intoxication Manslaughter.
