Driver dies in late night crash in Fort Worth
The Fort Worth Police Department is investigating a major accident with fatality that occurred late last night along the southbound lanes of I35W near I30.
Officials say a vehicle was traveling southbound on I35W near I30 when the vehicle drove onto the inside shoulder, across all lanes of traffic, and struck the jersey barrier between the exit lane and the main lanes.
The impact caused the vehicle to flip over. It came to rest upright in the main lanes of I35W.
The driver was transported to JPS but died just after midnight as a result of his injuries. The victim has been identified as a 46-year-old male.
