Driver dies after high-speed crash in east Dallas
The Dallas Police and Fire Departments responded to a major accident in the 4900 block of S. Buckner Blvd near Chariot Drive at 1:45AM this morning.
A preliminary investigation of the scene reveals a vehicle was traveling northbound on Buckner at a high rate of speed when the vehicle began to spin out of control. The vehicle crashed over the center median and into the oncoming lanes, impacting a southbound vehicle.
The driver who caused the crash was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The other driver was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
