[Updated] Fort Worth police investigating two overnight crashes with ejections; both fatal

The Fort Worth Police Department is investigate two separate crashes overnight, both involving ejections. Both involve fatalities.

At 1:38AM, Fort Worth PD, FD, and MedStar all responded to a two vehicle crash on northbound I35W near Rosedale. Two pickup trucks were involved in a crash. One the drivers was ejected and killed at the scene. The other driver fled the scene on foot, but was located with the help of the department’s Air-1 helicopter.

At 2:05AM, Fort Worth FD, PD, and MedStar all responded to a major accident involving a vehicle rollover at 2600 Brennan Ave. Police say a vehicle was traveling along the roadway, clipped a parked 18-wheeler, and overturned several times. Two people were ejected from the vehicle. Both were transported to the hospital with serious injuries. One of them, a 25-year-old male, died at the hospital.

Both crashes are under investigation.
