UPDATE: Driver of 18-wheeler cab taken into custody after lengthy pursuit
The Haltom City Police Department has taken the driver of an 18-wheeler cab into custody after a lengthy pursuit across multiple cities.
The pursuit lasted about 45 minutes and started in the HEB area. Several vehicles were hit by the suspect throughout the pursuit.
The pursuit went from the Northeast Mall area down Highway 121, up Sylvania and over to Long Ave. It went into Fort Worth crossing under I35W and into the Saginaw area.
After the pursuit reached Saginaw, the suspect turned around and went back down Saginaw Blvd into Fort Worth, passing Meacham Airport.
The pursuit came back down Long Ave and ended in the area of Broadway and Haltom Road.
