Driver dies after crash at north Fort Worth intersection
The Fort Worth Police Department says a driver died after a two-car collision at the intersection of N Beach Street and Golden Triangle on New Year’s Eve.
According to police, an eastbound vehicle was waiting at the intersection to turn northbound onto Beach Street. The vehicle entered the intersection and attempted to turn left on a red light, but was struck by an westbound vehicle.
The driver of the eastbound vehicle was transported to the hospital, but pronounced deceased due to her injuries. She has been identified as a 77-year-old female.
