Driver dies in overnight rollover crash in Hill County
The Texas DPS is investigating a major accident involving a fatality along FM 933 in Hill County early this morning.
Multiple emergency responders from 2604 VFD, CareFlite ground EMS, HCSO, and DPS responded to a rollover accident on FM 933 near Hill County Road 1201 south of Blum at around 2:45AM this morning.
According to officials, the vehicle as traveling southbound on FM 933 when the driver failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway. The vehicle crashed off the roadway, struck a tree, and overturned.
The driver, a 36-year-old male, was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
