Strong storms may accompany cold front Sunday evening in DFW
The National Weather Service Fort Worth is monitoring the potential for strong, possibly severe, thunderstorms in the North Texas area tomorrow (Sunday) evening. The storms would move through just ahead of a cold front.
The greatest risk for strong to severe weather is along and east of the I35 corridor. Several atmospheric conditions will be monitored throughout the day tomorrow, which would increase or limit the storm potential.
The latest forecast has the greatest risk of storms between the timeframe of 6PM – 11PM. Hail will be the biggest threat, although there is a low tornado potential with any storm that develops.
The cold front will move through our region tomorrow (Sunday) evening after the chance of thunderstorms.
Stay updated on the forecast throughout tomorrow and have a backup plan for any outdoor activities!
