One motorcyclist killed, three others seriously hurt in crash south of Fort Worth

The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating a fatality accident yesterday afternoon along Highway 6 between Clifton and Meridian in Bosque County.

DPS says a group of motorcyclists were all driving northbound on Highway 6 at around 3:15PM yesterday (Sunday). As the group attempted to pass a vehicle, they crashed. One of the motorcyclists took evasive action and collided with the side of a southbound pickup truck.

The motorcyclist who crashed into the pickup was pronounced deceased at the scene. A total of three other motorcyclists were all transported by ambulance and helicopters to local hospitals with critical injuries. Six motorcyclists were involved.

No one else was injured in the crash.

The investigation is ongoing at this time.
