15-year-old killed in Fort Worth shooting

The Fort Worth Police Department is investigating a homicide that claimed the life of a juvenile around 9:45pm on Wednesday evening.

Police were called to a home in the 700 block of Tumbleweed Court in far west Fort Worth after there were reports of gunshots in the area. When officers arrived, they located a young male with visible gunshot wounds.

Paramedics were called to the scene, but the victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the victim as a 15-year-old juvenile. He was shot in the back.

At this point in the investigation, officials can only say homicide units are investigating the case. There is no information regarding the suspect in this case.
