Woman killed in motorcycle crash near Granbury
The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating a fatality accident that occurred earlier this afternoon along Highway 377 in Hood County.
At approximately 4:00pm, DPS Troopers and other emergency responders from Hood County were called to the scene of a crash involving a motorcycle at Highway 377 and Campbell just west of Tolar.
Investigators say a vehicle had slowed to turn left onto Campbell Road from northbound Highway 377 when a motorcyclist did not see the SUV and crashed into it.
The motorcyclist has been identified as a 43-year-old woman from the Bluff Dale area. She was pronounced deceased on the scene. The driver of the vehicle was not injured.
The accident remains under investigation.
