Erratic driver critically injures pedestrian, hits police horse in downtown Dallas area
The Dallas Police Department arrested an erratic driver for a crash that occurred during the overnight hours in the downtown area.
At around 1:30am this morning, a man was driving erratically down Elm Street at a high rate of speed and rammed his car into another, occupied by two people who were not injured.
The suspect also hit and critically injured a pedestrian, police say. He also struck a Dallas police horse, but the horse was not injured.
The suspect’s vehicle became disabled near the 1400 block of Ross Avenue when the wheels came off the truck.
Police were able to take the driver into custody.
